Knights Armament MAMS

IIRC the price on it is $465

That's Funny. We all knew that the Price was going to be north of $400...with U.S retail @ $399
But when you actually see the number....you just gotta shake your head :dancingbanana:

At least with the Triple Tap being made of Iconel I could melt it down and use it to manufacture some centrifuges to enrich Uranium. LOL

For all the whiners - there's always people out there willing to pay to play. People appreciate fine craftsmanship and they should be considering KAC's heritage.

Just be glad we can get out hands on this stuff period. The market dictates the price.

Pft. You trying to get a free hat or something?

Not one post contained a Whine. No need to rush in and 'Rescue' O.S.T:shotgun:

Relax, it was more directed toward the lube comment but whatever. I see a lot of whining lately on CGN when the cdn price isn't competitive to its US counterpart.

Now lets stop ####ting on sponsors thread.

Sure is a must on a KAC SR-25 ECR, umbelievable how little muzzle jump for a 308 in that video... JP.

That's got a lot more to do with the fact that the sr is very soft shooting and Kevin knows how to drive it.
The mams looks like just a fancy pants battlecomp. And the battle comps are not as effective as a true brake like a surefire.

A little bit of the price tag I'm sure is related to the fact that its QDC for QDC suppressors. Other than that I can see how paying American staff to do how many passes over the brake they need to do to get all the holes drilled at a variety of different angles can add up to man-hours that are $$$. The welds I've seen done for the flash suppressor portion to the brake are beautiful - that takes more time, and adds to the durability of it if you really beat around the gun; Not that most of us would, but for military applications its going to take a better kicking.

A lot of positive MAMS (5.56 & 7.62) reviews on the net... can one of you rich CGN folk do a review after you receive it? Is it worth $456+tax+shipping?

Thanks Farmboy for bringing them in... we all appreciate it even the ones who are whining! :stirthepot2:

Cheers,
GB
