Is there a 20" version with a chrome lined barrel? I thought the ECR was but after reading through the knights website a few times it seems like only the ECC is chrome lined.
 
Your research was correct there is not a 20" version that is chromed lined.

The 20" ER shown above has a 5R Cut Rifled Match Grade Alloy Steel 1:11 Twist

The 20" ECR also has a 5R Cut Rifled Match Grade Alloy Steel 1:11 Twist
 
Is item FM 30365 is gonna be around in the next couples of months, i think it is the one that did impressed me the most on the youtube videos, top accuracy in a 16 inch barrel, kind of fascinating... JP.

Per Darren's past post regarding the short-term future availability of KACs I would say that it'd be best for you to put a deposit down now and not risk it.

The one thing that might play in your favor is that the KAC SR25 is not in everyone's budget, so the pool of potential buyers isn't near as big as entry level AR10's.

If I had the $$ at this very moment dedicated for the specific purchase of an AR-10 I wouldn't think twice about the SR25.
