Knowing velocity/energy down range?

Thanks every one, I won’t shoot at my chrony at 200m lol… I do t own a labradar!
I was hoping to find a link to a table that would give me the info!

Go to the Hornady website and there will be trajectory/energy tables for every bullet they make.

Better yet, buy a Hornady manual that has the tables.

They even have a "TWO BOOK" set, one for load data and the other for velocity/energy out to 500 yards. There is likely a digital copy available.

A quick glance at that link suggests it is very thorough - a notable point - the bullet path, for sure, is going to vary relative to your line of sight - depending on height of sights or scope - won't vary compared to centre line of the rifle's bore, though. How much "drop" you get at 300 yards with a 200 yard zero is very much dependant on how high your line of sight is, above the line of the bore ...

I was watching my grandson shooting at 600 yards. His electronic target (shown on his ipad) also showed the velocity of each shot. Velocities were about 100 fps less than what I had assumed, based on a ballistics table.

How accurate is a target like that? Do they advertise the accuracy +/- a certain percent or anything?

You might want to watch this video as it helps you understand how downrange velocity and wind correlate to the BC of the projectile.
