I actually tried searching for this first.

Who in Canada is supplying Knoxx stocks for the 870? I have looked at so many damn sites, I can't recall actual suppliers anymore. I know that Brownell's has some, but the models with recoil reduction are over the $100 barrier (if I understand that correctly). The NRS models are below $100.

I was hoping for a Knoxx, as they are reasonably priced. My research showed that ATI and ProMag were to be avoided.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

http://www.theshootingedge.com/productList/1038058/1000774, These guys are a sponsor.

There also was a store in creston (?) b.c. that sold them but I can not seem to find a link for them.

Here is a ebay link for them. ht tp://cgi.cafr.ebay.ca/Knoxx-SpecOps-Adjustable-Winchester-K04300-C-Stock-/220508604163

Kim.

The Shooting Edge is sold out of the SpecOPs for the 870. They do have the NRS model (rather have the recoil reduction).

The ebay link is for a Winchester.

Anybody else know of any sources In Canada, or easily accessible American sources.

I finally decided on specialtyshootingsportsoutdoors. $127 is hard to beat. I had to email them after a couple of business days to find out what shipping was (not provided on website). They quickly responded and apologized for not shipping it sooner. I guess they are super busy. I probably get it on Friday or next Monday.

I can't wait to try that baby out.

the NRS one is pointless - youll be wishing that you had spent the extra money on a proper recoil-reducing one.
regardless of how much (or how little) recoil bothers you, getting a stock that soaks up the majority of it will be a benefit to your accuracy and comfort - and to anyone else that uses the gun (especially women and new shooters).

i really dont see the point in getting a Knoxx stock that is stripped of its recoil-reducing feature. if you just want it for looks, then just purchase an AR stock adaptor for your 870 and install any AR grip/stock combo you like.

the internet is full of macho gun owners that claim they enjoy shooting 3.5" magnum slugs all day long, but if you are already getting the stock and have the option of soaking up nearly all the recoil for just a bit more money youd be a fool not to take it.

x2 for good price, items in stock, great customer service and fast shipping.
The Knoxx stock works great too.

as for the knoxx stock itself:
what a pleasure it is to shoot a 12ga with recoil like a 410
the stock sits a lil high but works superbly with a red-dot
