Any comments on this Knoxx folding stock for a Remington 870 Series?

I use my shot gun as back up when hunting. Typically spits out 3 inch slugs and I want to cut down on the recoil.

So, ....

quite a few on this site who do. All of the reviews from these members that I had read have been excellent. They have mentioned how it cuts down on the recoil a lot and how comfortable it is. From these reviews alone I would go out and buy one for myself if I was in the market.
 
All first hand accounts i've heard from people speak well of it.

However - remember that you won't get a proper cheek weld with a folder. Using the right sighting system you can compensate for that a bit - but it's meant to be a close in defense option, not a hunting stock option. Accuracy at range MAY suffer, athough perhaps you can over come that with a bit of practice.
 
I just put the Koxx spec ops on my gun....
took it to the cottage for the weekend to try it out and
all I can say is "I wish I had done it sooner" I was shooting 3" partitions with no problems.....except I kept flinching from the expected recoil as I am used to shooting them with a wood stock.

We used to run the Cop Stock on our range gun. We ended up removing it after a few folks got split lips and one fellow broke a tooth on it. The hing points just extend out a little far and if you are tall and push your head forward you can end up with a mouthfull of stock.
The Spec ops stock is far superior for shooting comfort, but your gun just ends up a little longer.
We stock most everything too.

It's not out yet but there are pics on their site.
It looks like the breacher's grip with a folder mated on the back.
I'm hoping that it will be convertable between pistol only and folder.
Do you think the new design will help with the issues you had at your range with the copstock?

I don't know, I have yet to use one. Once they are out I'll give it a try.
 
I like the look of those MUCH better - looks like there might even be enough room for a small side saddle with that one.
 
I really want to hear if anybody has used the COPStock with an EOTech mounted on top?? will it still fold over? Does the Sight need to be mounted farther forward.....

Anybody tried it?? Even a mock-up will help me out alot!!

I want the COPStock, but only if it will work with an EOTech!!
