Note to other users; use the stock as Knoxx says. I was holding it too tight to my shoulder and recoil was still significant with a Mossberg 835. Once I started putting it loosely into my shoulder and pushing forward on the pistol grip and pulling back on the fore end, 3" slugs became recoil insignificant.

Well i wouldnt call any 3" slug "virtually recoiless" fired out of anything, but the spec ops stocks sure do tame those ponies a little.

Thanks for the tip, I was just shooting it like you would any other shotgun and was still getting tons of recoil. Guess like most guys we seem to only skim through the instructions and do the good old "try and see" method.

Hey, thanks a lot, Arcstarter. I just ordered one. Finally.

This shotgun is gonna be a tactical dream when I'm done upgrading it!

The new stock, fiber optic ghost ring sights, and plenty of ammo saddles.

Considering a heat shield and a forgrip too.

It should. I ordered one from the same store (specialtyshootingsportsoutdoors) the other day, haven't recieved it yet - it doesn't say anything about the forearm on their website, but their ebay auctions for the same product say that a Knoxx ergonomic forearm is included.
