Knoxx recoil reducing stocks - 2 questions

I've seen a lot of questionable bad reviews! I have one and definitly feel a difference! Plus I love the big hand grip! Firs perfectly!
I bought mine on the ee so I'm no help sourcing one!

works great keeps you on target and easier on your shoulder bit tougher on the wallet though as you will be sending more lead down the range. makes a 3" slug feel like a game bird load.....its great.
I believe a grabbed mine from Wanstalls

They work great but I found I had to adjust my sight picture slightly so I wasn't getting check slap. It just took two shots to correct so it is no big deal. I run one on my wife's 20 gauge 870 after I have damaged my shoulder and it helps emensely.

Yes they work very well, my 870 tactical demonstrates that fact. Only problem is it will bite your face off if you don't use it properly, but it's easy to do just read the instruction. First time I had it out I suffered through 10 full power slug loads before I read the manual.
Edit: I have the gen one, not the new gen 2 idk if that make a difference.

Had one (back when it was from Knoxx), sold it after I got my Mesa LEO with Enidine buffer tube, didn't look back. The Mesa costs nearly as much as a new 870 Express though, but I'm buying a second for my #2 870 if that says anything. 25 slugs with a Magpul stock guided my decision.

They work best with optics and a higher cheek weld. The second generation has less flex in the tube which accounts for alot of the cheek slap......but I haven't tried shooting one yet.

I put one on my Lakefield/Mossberg 400G. They work. Allows me to shoot shotgun again. Bad shoulder. I was not planning to do a tactical conversion, but had to go that route do to the fact the AR style stock seriously changes the site line. I believe there may be adapters to adjust for that as I could not get my cheek low enough to use the bead site. I liked the pistol grip and adjustable length so much I just added a rail and now a scope. The recoil is very different. More of a two stage push with a barrel lift. I use the high cheek rest and have not had any cheek slap issues. Put 15 2 3/4" slugs down range with no problems at all. 3" still gives you a very healthy push though. If I knew the conventional stock shaped reducing one worked as well, I might try that someday. This 400G is fun but much good for clays now.

Had a buddy with one that would not reset. After each shot it would stay compressed and needed to whack it to make it pop back out. After seeing that I would never buy one.

I've seen that too.....some ballistol or other light oil helps break it in when they are stiff.
