Noticed I may have placed this in the wrong forum the first time...oops

I am thinking about getting a Knoxx Adj. stock for my 870 since with the adj. LOP it will be a bit more comfortable when Im deer hunting and the extra layers of clothes prevents me from getting a good look through the scope..but I have a R3 recoil pad on the stock right now...does anyone know if I bought the stock would this pad work with the stock or with the recoiling reducers built in is it needed or does it already come with a Sims pad?
Also will be used for turkey season as well

Thanks

The 870 R3 pad is too small. There is a limbsaver or decellerator that fits the 870 specops although. You don't really "need" a pad on it, but it all helps if you want to reduce the recoil.

The pad that comes with is plenty soft, and if you need more pads, I'd suggest going crossbow...my Grizzly is plenty soft with the SpecOps.

Whatever some others said about the Knoxx, they work. I can't answer if it fits or not, but I don't think you need to add a pad to it.
I could be shooting slugs all day with mine wearing only a t-shirt not even making sure I shoulder it perfectly... and not feel a thing the next morning.

:shotgun:

lol.....it actually came on an 870 Tactical I just bought on the EE....but they were selling them at TSE for $140 awhile back I think.....they are out of stock right now, but they might get the same ones back again, although it may have been a limited run with the LS pads...I'm not sure.

So I've decided to buy a Knoxx SpecOps.....where can I get one in Canada? Their website is totally useless, and when I phone them they keep transfering me to the international dept., which doesn't have anybody there.

TSE is all out of stock and they have to reapply for the export permits from the US since Blackhawk bought out Knoxx. That could take quite a while.
I emailed Blackhawk today and they sent me a list of Canadian dealers.
Let me know which province you are in and I can give you the contact info closest to you.

Watch your trigger finger on the Specops stock, when shooting mag rounds the trigger guard will slam back into it and it will make you bleed ouch!!
