does anyone have one? does it really decrease the recoil by as much as they say? think it says up to 95% on the info but i think in the vid it says 80%.

also, where abouts could i buy one of these badboys close to ontario? ill also be buying the forend to match.

will i need any special tools to change the stock and forend on my 870?

EDIT: i was thinking and it seems like the compstock would be better suited for me because the gun will be used for hunting and clay shooting. the specops would definatly look sweet. i have only used normal stocked guns my whole life. would it take long to get use to a stock like the specops stock?

thanks for the article it was a good read. im 100% sure that i will be buying a knoxx stock and forend but i just cant decide which one i want...the compstock or the specops stock.

the LOP on a factory 870 is 14 1/2", no? i see the LOP on the compstock is 13" which wouldnt be good because if anything i want it bigger since im 6'2.

but, the problem with the specops stock is there is no place to attach a sling and i have never used a gun with a stock like this so im unsure if i will like it.

oh ok i was going by these pics:

the only pics that show the sling stud are the ones that have the powerpak included as well. ill just email them and see if the specops has a swivel stud.

what is it like shooting with a stock like this compared to the factory wood stock? i dont wanna spend a nice chunk of change on something i wont like.

I have a feeling if you don't like it.... you could probably sell it easy enough.
Thing is no one has one yet in Canada but shouldn't be much longer.
P.S. You can see the hole for the stud in your linked photo:)
