Well, I could get all pissy and start bad mouthing a business, but it won't accomplish anything. I was more choked when the first Nork crapped out and wouldn't lock-up. The gun was returned for repairs, and ended up being replaced.
Before people freak out and say the distributor played a switch-r-roo, the gun I sent in was identical to the one I got back.
I'm kinda miffed that I can't use this stock right away. Is it the end of the world? No.
I'll get a 870 (real or clone) sometime, mount the stock and have just as much fun as I'll have with this one. This one is destined for truck gun status. Something to pratice gunsmith skills on, and maybe a little painting.
Well, it would save me (and how many others?) from buying a POS shotgun from that dealer. If you don't want to "out" them here, then at least feed back to them the problem you've experienced so that, if nothing else, they can warn potential customers that 870 parts/accessories likely won't fit those guns.
The shotgun isn't really a POS. Well, the first one was .
It is a Remy copy, kinda. It breaks down like the 870, but it's not a 870 receiver . I've sent the company an e-mail about this, haven't heard boo back. Might have to follow it with a PM. I know they're on here.
Like I said, I'll be keeping this one and beat the crap out of it. As a 14" shotgun, it's cool. You just can't mod it out .
