Knoxx stock with sling plate?

I have a Knoxx NRS stocked Norinco and have been kind of delaying putting a sling on it as I'm a lefty and all the sling plates I've found are running like 30-40$ US plus shipping. I noticed that Canadaammo is selling the ambi ones now for 20$ INCLUDING shipping so I ordered one today.

I heard that the Knoxx stock bolts don't have the length to put a single point sling plate in. Is that true?

If so what do people here do to sling their knoxx stocked guns.

It would sure suck to have to take the Knoxx stock off but a Shotgun without a sling is like a handgun without a holster so....
