Anyone ever used this part. I would like to replace the cutter pin in my AR bolt. Also, anyone know a Canadian source for it. Brownells, etc south of us aren't shipping this here. Help appreciated. Thanks

I'd be curious myself. The cotter pin in my Norinco doesn't seem like much of a part. I'd be interested in something that was a little sturdier and easier to winkle in and out out of its hole in the BC.

$9 solution to a non existent problem, and it will be just as hard to find in the grass. You would be better off with a few conventional spares which get lost more often then break.

+1!
It belongs 'in the bin' with other 'answers to questions nobody asked' such as shock-buffs, etc.
Better spend the $ on a few replacements for the stock item.

Learn something new every day. Thanks for the input, guys.

I know it's not a high-tension application - that wee pin keeps the firing pin from coming out, but bears no additional responsibilities, and so does not need to be a high speed/low drag thing - but it's a PITA to get in and out of my particular BC.

Have you found a good inexpensive Canadian source for "consumable" AR parts like this?
