Are these genuine Russian-made Axion Kobra optics? The reason I ask is because the following website lists a number of features that indicate that a Kobra might actually be a Chinese airsoft replica / fake, such as lightning cuts on the mounting bracket frame; a feature which the Kobra sights advertised on the TI website seem to have:

http://www.tacticalimports.ca/kobra-ekp1s03-red-dot-sight-p-674.html

Furthermore, the example you have mounted on the promotional photoshoot model lacks the ON/OFF dial-switch that is usually found on the left side of the optic. How then does it turn on and off?

Please confirm or disconfirm as I would like to buy a genuine Kobra sight. Thanks.

Does seem odd without the switch on the right in the majority of pics with it mounted on the rifle as opposed to the pics of it seperate

I think the biggest concern is if there isn't any brass or copper reinforced lugs on the inside of the mounting bracket. Can't tell either cuz there is no pics of it from that angle

Yeah thanks for pointing that out, personally from some digging i've found that the model with the switch ends in M, this model "appears" to be newer and has an on/off function via holding down the button to swap reticles as well has followed the Chinese style lightened mounts.

I would like to hear from TI that these are legitimate Russian optics.

Dang, I just bought one of the regular side mounts and a pricey kobra optic. Definitely would have preferred the entire side mounted kobra.

The optic is Russian but the mount is made by poly if that helps at all. And this is found on Tactical imports site when you go to accessories and look for the kobra mount.

The page says made by Axiom the optic in the photos with the T81 it does not match the stock optic photo or any known legitimate model.

The one photo'd on the T81 appears to be in the exact style of chinese clones but lacking the manual on/off dial. So we are waiting to hear back from TI if this is a new revised model of Kobra or something else.

There are very few other US and RU sellers showing this new model which does not appear on Axiom's web page. These new models seem to have appeared around 2019 but there is very little information and only an handful of written reviews.

i read their site and it clearly says the mount is made in canada and why shouldnt it be when the picatinny kit mount is also made in canada.

The mount meaning the base that is attached to the side reciever of the body of the rifle. Not the mount attached to the kobra
