Kobra sight on a VZ

Just ordered a PK-A so I'll let you know :)

Psssssst Wake up CGN dealers "people want these getto Russian optics ;)"

I've always been wondering why the reflex sights aren't designed upside-down with the lens axis near the barrel line and the controls above with a hanger kind of mount.
This would place the lens and the emitter diode and its electronics under the control box, protecting the sensitive parts while lowering the sight axis.
PP.

Wish there was a dealer who imported and stocked russian side mount optics...i'd be in for a red dot and short dot type optic...

I had good experience with east wave on several occasions, fast shipping.

Also "kalinka optics warehouse" is a good place to shop for Russian optics and mounts.. I ordered few things from there as well. They are in US but ship everything..

Please keep me updated on thoughts on the PK-A as im getting a Bushnell TRS-25 for now for my CZ858.

One important thing i discovered recently... I always shot this gun at 40-60 meters and it was right on, but last time at the range i tried 100 and 200 meters and had to adjust the sight few clicks "down", thats when i realized that it is all the way down already, and i couldn't adjust any more. So, either this sight has small "up"&"down" adjustment range, or the CSA factory rail is actually not aligned properly.. go figure..

This actually isn't true. They have major adjustments. However, the sight locks down the adjustment to only allow minor adjustment. You have to use the tool to loosen back the center piece to allow the big round part to rotate. Then, when you get it close you lock the major adjustment down and then use the minor adjustment to make distance adjustments within a minor amount.

That said, I've had much difficulty keeping mine zeroed and I don't like it on my CZ. I put it on the top handguard rail and you can't cheek weld with it up there, its way too high. Pretty much any mount will be too high with the factory stocks. You need something very low profile.

I took mine off my CZ and put it on one of my other guns and I like it a lot.
