Other than the ACT Trigger, what is everyone using for a trigger upgrade?

I would gladly try the ACT trigger but I cannot find anything from coast to coast in Canada. Any ideas?

Also - brass deflectors - What is junk and what is worth it? And where the heck can you get them in Canada.

Other than those two things, what do you think the most budget friendly improvements/accessories are for this model?

Calgary Shooting Centre shows the ALG ACT in stock

For deflector I used two sections of Magpul Type 1 M-Lok Rail cover

The RWA bolt catch release upgrade kit works great - don't think they are in business any longer.
Kodiak now makes a version of it. http s://kodiakdefence.com/products/accessories/external-bolt-catch-release/

I bought mine used and it came with a plastic brass deflector. No idea who made it, but it works fine. I upgraded the trigger to a Hyper fire heavy gunner and it is a huge improvement over the original. The only other thing I changed was adding an extended mag release. I don't have to adjust my grip to reach it now.

Have you had any problems with the cassette fitting? Did you have to do any modding?

Also anyone here have any thoughts on the HiperFire EDT Designated Marksman trigger?

I had to grind a little bit off the RWA bolt hold open. I don’t know if the factory hold open needs to be modified or not.

If you go for a Triggertech, you may want to upgrade to captured/anti-rotation/anti-walk pins. The pins aren’t really secured in any way and could easy fall out if the set screws on the cassette loosen.
