Looking for a source to buy a copy of Kokoda in Canada

..... Anyone have a quick and easy contact to purchase a copy of Kokoda that's compatible with "our" DVD players ? ...... For those that are interested, check out the treatment received by POWs at the hands of the Japanese.( And very few were ever charged as War Criminals either! ) ..... David K

I couldn't find a DVD in our North american Format. I had to buy off of ebay and watch off of my computer....

Here at Radio Shack in Canada I brought a DVD player that would play DVD's from any region. Cost was around $75.00 & all I had to do was punch in a few numbers on the remote to turn it from a North American to an all region player.
Picture was not the best (better than VCR) but how else to watch such classics as "Battle of the River Plate" or "The Wooden Horse" or "High Road to China".
I splashed out earlier this year on a $200 player that does the same thing but with a much better picture & also upconverts the DVD.

I will not buy illegal DVD's but if a legal version is not available in North America I feel OK about buying a legal UK/Aussie etc version.

FYI

There was talk of Different regions DVD players, Well as it turns out most (85%) of DVD playser are Multi region. The factory make them so but cannot sell them to us that way. All you need to do is get your make & model and get the access code from the internet. I did it and now I can play Aussie DVD's!

Sites like this ht tp://www.dvdhacks.co.uk/ have been around in the UK for years.

anyway, I had luck and wanted to share
