Anyone have an opinion on Briley vs. Kolar tube sets. I'm thinking of getting a subgauge set for my Beretta 687. I have looked at the Briley ultralights and the kolar AAA clays. I don't just want a skeet set so I want interchangeable chokes. Prices seem about the same as are the weights.
All shooters at my club who have had their guns tubed shoot kolar tubes but no one has had a new set of tubes in years so I have not been able to see the new product.

Also who in Canada supplies these tubes and does the trigger conversion or do I need to send them off to the states.

I'd go with the Kolar tubes. I know a number of folks shooting the Kolar products that are new and fairly new. They are very happy with their Kolar products.

Lawry's also handle the Kolar products.

Briley has attempted several new extractor designs but none of them worked reliably.

Kolar has upgraded their extractors and don't seem to have any troubles.

These new upgraded extractors are supposed to be able handle a larger variety of shells, ie those with steel case heads instead of brass.

On the lower end kolar tubes, they still have choke tubes they are just loctited on.

I'd buy kolars. I've had both, they are both very good.
