Korean War: Russian version

Presumably you know that photo was restaged for the photographer?

And the Allies agreed at Yalta to hold back and let the Soviets get to Berlin first. We even withdrew from parts of German we had conquered and let the Soviets occupy them.

Patton was already in Czechoslovakia when the war ended.

Other interesting fact is - Russians lost more live while assaulting Berlin then Americans thru out the whole war (including Pacific) around 300 000 due to the Stalins wish to have a "Victory Day" May 8-9 on the same date as Labor Day May 1 which was some like Christmas but in soviet ideology.

smellie,
My father worked at Aircraft Repair as well and I remember a few stories of the Aircobras and one of Russian officials arriving in Edmonton in a C47.

But we had the Atomic Bomb and with a push of button in 1945, the US wins again!

Makes everything you did up until that point....seem obsolete.

The one with the Bomb controls the air, land and sea.

I vote Little Boy and Fat Man the Winners of WW2.

Absolutely, where were the Russians at D-Day, Dieppe, Dunkirk, North Africa, The Atlantic, The St. Lawrence Seaway, At England, The Pacific, The Battle of the Bulge,
and the list goes on......

the Russians were drinking Vodka and Screwing Olga, that's where they were.

are you serious?

Is it the drinking and screwing or the land battles that confuse you! lol

I know of the battles. What I am wondering about is if you really believe the Soviets were only "drinking vodka and screwing Olga" during the time of the Canadian/American/British battles. This has to be a joke if you believe this.

What were the Commies doing when they were starving the 6-10 Million Ukrainians in 1932-33?
How long could you go without eating?

I specifically mentioned and referanced your post regarding

"Dieppe, Dunkirk, North Africa, The Atlantic, The St. Lawrence Seaway, At England, The Pacific, The Battle of the Bulge,

My answer to this would be Kursk, Moscow, Berlin, Stalingrad, Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Smolensk etc... The list definitely goes on. Don't get me wrong, in no way am I downplaying anyones "involvement" (who am I to do that?), but to say the Soviets were simply drinking vodka and "screwing Olga" is simply a joke... a bad joke at that.

RT, "Russia Today" online newspaper, was kind enough to publish the never before known numbers of Russian nationals battle deads, during the Korean War.

However, RT has been completely numb about the resent artillery duel and casualties between the Korea's, as well as RT is being numb about South Korea's strong language about military retaliations against the North Korea....

Clearly, from the absence of these dramatic international news from RT online, RT therefore also very clearly, appears to be a political tool, as well as being manipulated by the Government of Russia as such.

If you haven't followed, she is basically the equivalent of a left wing extremist in her thinking, very liberal.

They only see their point of view, and skew the facts to support their cause. When faced with facts, they change the subject fast and throw in such witty phrases as "They were only screwing olga" that add nothing to the conversation in an attempt to cover their own lack of acceptance of the truth.

Irony is she would have made the PERFECT Communist, resolute and fanatically devoted to her cause. Answering truth with rhetoric, faithful and blind to the bitter end.

It only figures for a Commie Loser. They also deny any involvement with the 6-10 million Ukrainians that they starved to death in 1932-33.

Interesting that they only want you to hear the good and forget the bad they did. They couldn't hide from the INTERNETS!

You go back to watching "Enemy at the Gates" holding your $49 refurbed Nagant for another hour before your bedtime! lol

Mosin-babe

I don't know what I want more; the rifle or the babe. :D

If every Russian chick looks like Rachel Weisz, I'd rather be a commie.
