Anyone out there know if Korth can service the Mark 4 or Long Range Tactical Scopes yet. I have a Long Range M-3 that works like a charm but I am looking for a new scope, possibly a Nightforce and if Korth still cannot service the scopes, this may influence my choice. Thx.

I was told that they just replace the scope with a new one.I am looking at a mark4 MR/T the only thing that pisses me off about leupold is they call everything mark 4

Just got off the phone with Korth Agencies and they now can service the Mark4 and Long Range Tactical Scopes. I never had to send in a Leuoold Scope for service yet but you never know. If you need to it is definitely convenient to keep it here in the Country, especislly if you live in the area. It is good to know cause for the longest time, Korth couldn't service these scopes and they had to shipped to Beaverton.

Thats really good news for us Canadian Leupold owners. No having to worry about return Export paperwork from the U.S.:D

Wooohooooo! This is good news indeed. Made the trip down to Beaverton a few years back (family vacation) and conveniently dropped off some Mark 4 rings that were in need of service. Service was excellent, but with the new export/import hoops that we have to jump through nowadays, it's good to finally have the service available in country...

I spoke to Korth Agencies last week and confirmed that they are doing the warranty work on Mark 4 scopes by doing a straight exchange. They tried to set up to actually work on the scopes themselves but the equipment to purge the scopes with nitrogen was very expensive (dedicated for Mark 4s) so it was decided to do a straight exchange since the breakdowns of these scopes was so rare that they could eat the occasional scope. Also while were at it they will not handle any custom shop work (done in Beaverton Oregon) on any of the Leupold line like special finishes and laser engraving. They will still do warranty on the remainder of the Leupold line including reticle changes and parallax changes. Phil.

With respect to reticle chages on the Mark 4's I think you are out of luck in Canada. You would have to contact Leupold USA and see if you could have it done in Beaverton. It's not that Korth does not have the ability to change reticles it's just the purging of nitrogen thats the problem once the seal has been broken. Phil.
