So,
One of my dreams is that « one day », I will fork in the big money to buy a Korth revolver. Now if only I had the discipline to stop buying other guns for many, many months and save up the money...
I am thinking of the classic Korths, and I was thinking that the more affordable ones that should come in in the future: like the Mongoose, which is the result of an association with Nighthawk Customs, were not as nice as the classic Korths. But you know what: after looking carefuly, that Mongoose looks kind of ###y and at a price that should be in the 4K's, might be more affordable.
Talking about Nighthawk customs, just go on their web site and look at what they did with the Browning Hi-Power. Really nice.

My world too Gilbert LOL!

I think the ones coming into Canada (at least initially) will be the straight up branded Korth National Standards, and not the Nighthawks. Same guns anyway. They will be running for 3500 cad.

They will not be as nicely fitted and finished as the Custom Combat Korths but for less that half the price, that shouldn't be a surprise. They will still be very nice guns, and made from strong materials. The challenge is that there is just not a lot of info on them or experience with them as they are relatively new. I quite like them too so that might not stop me (it didn't with the PRS) but still a toss up with the Manurhin MR73. I like the heritage and strength or the Manurhin, but find the Korth NS a more appealing package.

Graham, I have to say the Manhurin MR73 is vey appealing but they are kind of rare.

BillD: We are share the same weakness - lol. May I remind you that I sold you my P210 only to buy another one soon after :)

Trade Ex are apparently get in a shipment of Manurhin MR 73s in the fall, so you will have some options.

Graham,
Any idea if this shipment that Tradex is expecting is of older used revolvers or if they are brand new, newer production from Chapuis?

I had a chat with Anthony and those are new production from Chapuis, the price is set around 3200-3500, if one is available, i will pick one up to pair with my Korth Combat... JP.

Yes and that P210 was supposed to be my last for awhile LOL, but then got sidetracked by another revolver, shotguns, and an unrealized milsurp bug *sigh*.

BillD,
After a recent major buy, I told my wife I would not buy another firearm for a full year. That was 2 monhs ago and I am already on the hunt. :)

NHC.....the fit and finish is top shelf. I have had zero problems with my full sized Costa in .45acp (of course)

Treat yourself!

Looks like JP has had the same conversation. Yes new. Call Anthony and he'll give you more details.
