Korth Group Very poor to deal with

I have finally recieved my custom turret. The quality is up to par with what i expected it should be. The final product is nice, it was just getting there was a little rough. I guess i am just a big communication guy. Even when i sell, i always make sure to answer every question within 12-24 hrs. I do understand that i do not sell in the volume that Korth does, but communication is a top priority to me. It ensures trust between the two or more parties.

Care to post a pic for me. Interested in seeing on how it turned out

This has nothing to do with ITAR and all to do with money. By not supporting US retailed scopes Korth felt he could 'force' Canadians to buy his inflated $ imports. Obviously not working.
Where did you hear that BassPro was 'backdooring' scopes?? Do you really think they would risk everything, including jail time for execs. to save a few $. They are acting as a distributor, to their stores, therefore bypassing Korth.
When Korth began this ransom scheme I bought my last Leupold. I have between 40 and 50 Leupold scopes, but no more. If the manufacturer can't get a handle on their Can. dist., I can go elsewhere. Nightforce, S/B, Zeiss, all make good stuff. (No Bushnel) Mark

Yup that's Korth

WoW!
I warned about stuff like this when they announced there monoploly and I got a tun of hate thrown my way.
Stories like this just make me sit back smiley and laugh. Not at the poor people that have to deal with this monoploly but at the Korth group them selves.

No hate from me,, How do you spell gouge,,,, Korth

Then maybe they should handle the warranty for the products they sell at lowball prices...

They don't low ball Korth high Balls. Korth gets paid by leupold for warranty, or gets the sweatheart deal for not charging warranty on what Korth sells.

If the latter is the case, don't expect top notch service cause it will cut in to the Korth bottom line. Also if the latter is the case Korth could repair and bill leupold. I guess they jost don't want to, it might affect the monopoly game.

I've always been a leupold fan and think that they are one of the toughest scopes in the business. However, in the past 7 years I have now purchased Zeiss rifle scopes. I will argue that Zeiss optics are superior to Leupold in brightness, clarity, sharpness, and a very tough scope. However, warranty is another story. All Zeiss products must be sent to the USA for warranty from manufacture or user error, which is not superior to services which Leupold provides.
