^^ How can you tell that them optics out of the box are e.g. not holding zero, have turrets not tracking right at all,... So only cosmetic issues "bad out of the box" are being caught? Your customers can tell you right away?

Having sold and mounted over a thousand scopes over the years we open the box, examine the exterior, look through it while adjusting magnification (also parallax if equipped), check for level of reticle against adjustment for windage and elevation, confirm described adjustments work (reticle tracks as expected against bore sighter), look for foreign material (specs and debris) on lenses, make sure ocular adjustment properly focuses reticle, make sure illumination works properly (if available) and confirm scope properly magnifies image without distortion. All of the above steps are done routinely when we mount a scope and some things occasionally don't work as expected so the time to find out these problems are during the examination and mounting process. Obviously we can't confirm the scope can hold zero but if is bad out of the box we will return it immediately. Over the years we have rejected a surprising number of scopes before the customer goes out the door. Phil.

Hey folks,

Our apologies for the late response on this one - things have been a bit busy with COVID going on. Our current turnaround for optics repair is about a week. If you've recently had to wait long than this, please let us know.

When I started this post, its sole intent was to find out if anyone had heard from Korth as I had called to check on the progress of my new rangefinder and was not able to contact them. I have nothing but total respect for this company and have had nothing but good experiences with them.
Some people that posted replies to this post when I first put up were very rude and obnoxious and I told them so and will never do business with them, ever, and placed them on my "ignore" thing on here. I also asked a moderator to delete this whole thing but I see that has not happened, so I will ask again.
In my books , Korth is awesome to deal with.

I have had exceptional service from Korth and my Leupolds continue to function great. I would not hesitate to acquire more Leupolds ( can`t say the same about the crap
vortex junk though, I`ve tried some and was totally dissapointed with them)

I appreciated your initial question and the intent of what you asked. Remember there are always people who try to put others (people and companies) down without supporting facts. I think it is important to leave these threads up as a reminder of the type of comments a few people make and moving forward who to ignore. Phil.

Having read another post about Canada Post, that could result in a longer wait than the repair at Korth.

Reminds me of two gunsmith jokes posted at a local business years ago:

Gunsmith rolling around on the floor laughing with the caption "You want it when?".

The other has the caption attributed to the customer "If I wanted it fixed tomorrow I'd brought it in tomorrow!"

I have 2 scopes at Korth right now, they contacted me regarding them ,I had tracking on the parcel and they called me a few days after they recieved the parcel.kelly[/QUOT

I thought I would say that Korth replaced my 35 year old Leupold 4 x and tightened up the eye piece on my efr, there was more time in shipping than the repair, kelly

I got very positive experience with this guys. I sent to repair a Leopold Delta Point Pro and they sent back a brand new immediately. I believe they are facing big supply problem like another companies, because that pandemic. Although some companies are taking vantage of this problem to postpone costs I really believe it is not the case of Korth Group.

I've had Korth work over a few of my older scopes . Most came mounted on rifles I'd purchased and I just wanted them checked out . Two needed minor repairs , the others were just cleaned up and regassed . All within two weeks and , other than shipping , at no cost , I have no complaints . There aren't to many business' that haven't been effected by the latest events , I'd put any recent delays down to that .

I just contacted them about the "keepers" on my Mark 4 rings that I overtorqued when my torque wrench failed. They contacted me right away and asked for my address so that they could send them out to me. Should arrive this week some time.
