I wanted a carbine kit for the NP 762, the two options were Kidon and KPOS. In the end I ordered a KPOS for Sig 226 as the NP762 is a 226 clone. I thought the KPOS looked a bit more cool than the Kidon. Well I should have gone with the Kidon which I knew fit because I had seen PENCHENEG's video where he uses it. I also should have looked a little more closely at the shape of the rear of the 2 pistols- the NP762 is much more chunky, and that's were the problem is. The front end fits perfectly in the KPOS but the rear is too large. I am considering getting out the devil dremel tool but that runs the risk of completely destroying a brand new KPOS. I don't have a Sig 226 so unless I can figure something out I will probably just sell it. Just wanted to make sure nobody else makes my rather costly mistake!

Thanks for the heads up. You could always pick up an NP22 to use in your KPOS, if you can't modify it to fit the NP762.

I'm using an NP22 in a Roni kit, BTW, which works well. I suspect an NP762 wouldn't work with the Roni kit for the same reason that it won't work with your KPOS.

Ha ha the dremel tool is fairly appealing but it's not like I'm a super skilled metal worker, would probably just ruin a good piece of gear. I ordered the Kidon and will list the KPOS unless I can find another pistol that will fit it. I'll try a few today at the range. :)

Damn, it ALMOST fits a Shadow 1! Front locks in tight, but rear is just a little off! :)

I ordered a Kidon but while I was waiting the dremel demon took hold of me and after much cutting and trying on the rear block I made it fit.

All excited I took it to the range and it functions fine. But the trigger on this pistol is insane. Feels like the safety is on then after yarding on it it finally goes. I think it’s a problem with the KPOS so I remove it and try it. Nope. This trigger is hard to the point of being dangerous! Impossible to aim as you must exert extreme pressure.

I bought two of these pistols, so will try the other trigger when I get home.

On the plus side, the KPOS looks very cool. :)

Took the slide off, trigger functions normally. I think the little nub on the trigger bar is rubbing against the slide. The slide has a little curved cut out milled into it, I’m guessing the nub is too long or the cut out is too small.

Double action trigger is fine. Not superb of course but manageable
