Krag question

Years ago i picked up a Krag carbine that i believe is mostly original, but never did much with her other then to oil her and put her in the back of the safe. A while back i got the bug to try her out. Feeds nice and smooth, just like everything i've ever read about them said, but after firing, the bolt is hard to lift. The ammunition being used was military surplus 6.5 swedish ammo.

Cycling the action by hand, there is no hesitation on opening. Normally, i'd be thinking i had hot loaded ammo, buy is cycles fine thru both my AG 42B and M38 swede rifles?

I didn't try commercial as i know some of it is loaded warmish compared to the original loadings. Any thoughts from the brain trust out there?

Perhaps a rough chamber?. Rust, corrosion or pitting will hinder bolt lift.
A light polish, and some grease on the extraction cam may improve things.
