Kragujevac fullstock

Nice!
So unique and pretty it made me do some homework.
Similar but not the same as the modern M70 "full stock version". Made in Serbia by Zavasta Arms for sporting use. Yours is an older version and much nicer. Double trigger option. One trigger presets the other for lighter pull. The differences between the older Mauser design and newer that I can tell are the bolt and safety as well as the newer hooded front sight. Newer version not as ornate and uses a slide safety. Older version you have has the safety on the bolt unless I missed something in the pictures.

Some commercial rifles were built on military actions, although they often were polished of any of the proof marks (not always).
Early Parker Hale's, Churchill etc...

I suspect you have a pre-civil war factory Sporter. Probably a short M48 or m24 action with all preduzece markings polished off. kragujevac is simply the city in Serbia where the factory is located. The checkering template design looks very similar to all other Serbian Sporter mausers that I have seen. Not sure about the stock though. Someone put a few hours on that rifle but I suspect this might be a factory Sporter with all of the options and not a custom job. I suppose it could be the Yugoslavian version of a German Guild rifle? That's my gut check and I don't know that for sure.

I own that rifle now and besides all of the other features it also has a stock with considerable cast off to it which makes me think it was either custom made or special ordered

Thanks I look forward to taking it out this fall deer hunting.I now have an old weaver K 3 scope with post and crosshair recticle on it which looks perfect on the gun.

Nice rifle... the only thing that I find "off-putting" is the honeycomb recoil pad... If it were me, I would put on a nice black Pachmyr with clean lines.

I suspect the gun wasn t originally set up for a scope and the low swing safety, old redfield mounts and butt pad were added later by a non European hunter.I plan on eventually putting an old English butt pad on it .
