KRAL Shotguns

My son bought one of these. Nice gun for the price. Handled well decent features. Was pretty happy with it until it broke a firing pin at about 1 yr old (light use - maybe 20 rounds of trap - 500 firings). Have not been able to get another pin. Ask the seller about parts availablility. If he says he can get parts please tell me so I can get a firing pin.

Got it at Marstar, Budd. It would appear they may be getting out of this line, since the only few they have left are clearance specials and I can find no regular listing of Krals on their site. Don't know what their future Kral plans might be. I wouldn't be too hopeful for parts. You might try writing to the company directly, as they have a web site which should contain contact information.
Mine is the 12 gauge O/U and I like it just fine. Fewer moving parts! What gun does your son have? A gunsmith should be able to make a new firing pin for you (or have one made through a machine shop), but will the cost be worth it?

Good luck,

Brendan

I would Kral away from these as fast as possible, many much more reliable shotguns made in North America, or elsewhere with much better record, even used would be much better then these. Soft receivers, soft steel, a lot of firing pin problems.....
