who's got one? i got one chambered in .308 which i am currently looking for a mag for. i emailed around and seems there are alot of these rifles missing there mag. line ups everywhere to get one and most gun parts stores haven't even seen one in years. i'm ready to make one. so who's got one and if you do, perhaps you have an extra mag you never use ? i got a buddy who said he can make me a couple out of stainless steel but it will be a slow process as he don't have his PAL so can't leave it there over night. still hoping an original mag falls into my lap. i hear that these mags were used in all the krico's chambered in .243, .308, and 7mm-08.

love that rifle, I would like to buy one someday, how is the bolt on it? Got any more pics? Just don't see the full stock krico's on here very often...

Can you post a pic of the mag well area? I have a Krico mag for the 222/223 rifles and it is similar in appearance to the CZ style (tall and thin). Wondering what shape the 308 mag would be.

I'll get more pics when i'm home k guys. Just out and about on the mobile. It is a very nice rifle and it saddens me the mag is missing. My buddy should be able to make one but find an original would be so much easier. I have a feeling the 223 is a bit skinnier and not as long but heck ya never know aye. Maybe there's only a difference in the feeding lips. I could easily modify that. The mag i need is around 75.35mm long, 15.28mm wide, and 45mm tall. They came in 3 and 5 rnd mags i believe. I'll get back to the pics later. Will be home at 9 :(

Oh and to answer your question the bolt is premium fit and finish. Cycles very smooth.

By those dimensions, it sounds like it is a single stack mag.

It is a single stack mag. All the newer krico's use double stack i think. I shoukd try on a german hunting forum. Maybe i'll get lucky. Problem is that people now need import permits to ship firearm parts from over there and i hear they are expensive.

Although i have tried WGP and they say they can't even find those mags at german tradeshows. Apparently they have many people looking for those mags as well.

the export permit from Germany is not a big deal and the price is really nothing ....
im coming back to you.

Waffen Versand 24 this is the form the shipper need to feed.

inside UE the permit cost including shipping is around 95 euros and i think for outside UE 150 euros whatever the amount you re buying plus of course the taxes you re paying here ...
the price is nothing if you cant use that wonderful rifle ....

this is where you can start ...

Take out the bolt and leave it there for 3 weeks. FS

I've got a Anschutz 1574 .308 built on a Krico action. The mag cut-out on your's looks exactly the same except the pictures look like a side latch where mine has a inside the bow release. The follower is marked .243, .308 and 5.6 x 57 RWS.

Maybe a single shot adapter might be easier to build, I have them in my CZ 527 rifles. They come from Calhoon in Montana. FS

It will be a cold day in hell before i except this rifle as a single shot. It has to be a repeater for reason other then me just being stubborn. Heck it works fine as a single shot right now. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Any spare mags? I would be tickled if it would fit. Then i could get my buddy to copy it out of stainless. He says he can do it with mild steel cause it has to many impurities to do the techniques he will use for fusion. Even if you had a spare you don't mind shipping so i can copy it then ship it back that would be cool. Will make the part of getting it to feed properly way easier. I feel there will be alot of trial and error if we just try to wing it. If your mag is the same size but a different lock that ain't a problem. The lock on this gun is so simple it's rediculous. I could modify a mag the same shape to lock into my gun in a matter of minutes just with a dremel. If you have a spare i'd buy it off you. Don't feel obligated though. If you choose to keep it if you have one i understand completely and no hard feelings at all. Just want this gun to be huntable. Nothing worse then not having a quick follow up shot when you need it.
