Krieger M-14 18.5" barrels

I've had a tonne of emails from guys wanting quotes on installs for the krieger and mcgowen barrels.
many months ago i told Ian that if he could manage an m14 barrel mass import, he could mention to his clients that i was offering them a discount on my services for install.
so..... though my add in the dealer section shows standard price....... anyone who mentions my comments in this post :) after ordering a barrel from Ian , will get the standard instal fee reduced to 165.00

snap em up kiddies, brand spankin new kriegers don't come along every day.
I've had the chance to inspect and check for parts fit, receiver draw ect. As is typical with krieger barrels , we will most likely need to create the 1 degree undercut on the shouldr to draw with most receivers. Mine comes hand tight at 20 degrees on the receivers I have, 15 is optimal..... less than 15 is bad ;)
parkerizing is excellent , thou mine came with a hazy, creamy finish in spots, once i hit it with a clp wipe...... beautiful and flawless.
oprod guides will be a very tight fit..... which is good..... but fitting will be required as they will not go on simply by hand.
gas assembly barrel location, again, excellent fit all around.... room in the splineways for custom NM fitting.... which is good..... compatable with norinco gas cylinders as well... I tried 6, all untitized
muzzle end detail is perfect and easily accept both usgi and chinese flash hiders.
I suppose i should expect no less from krieger as this is not my first of thier m14 barrels.
the last one Ian got for me produced a rifle that is just simply insanely accuarate for an m14 type rifle.... the barrel is a huge part of that equation

he's a straight shooter, be patient he had some other things on his plate when the barrels landed and may be having to balance his time between priorities....

It's already away. I was at Casey's at Tacord and he said he had an opening so it should be back in about 2 weeks (I hope I hope). It's a damn good thing they left .025 on the shoulder though because it is just about perfect as it is for tightening. So with the JAE stock and the National match flashider complete with Toadstabber dohickey. I just need to pick up the correct Toadstabber and I can stand in front of the mirror and look fierce just like Hungry taught us:rockOn:

So what is the consensus on Chromoly vs Stainless? Opinions anyone?

Also, what kind of accuracy increases are we looking at over the factory barrel?

With the krieger barrels you can get a 2" group at 1000 yds shooting over your left shoulder using a mirror in gale force winds:D

Mine is back from Casey:rockOn: Dropped it off last Saturday and picked it up today:dancingbanana::dancingbanana:I still have to teflon coat it and assemble it, but that may be done by Monday and It may be at the range by next weekend. Still waiting for my NEA extended bolt stop, (NEA, that would be a hint). Other than that, a big thanks as always to Casey:D
