Hey there..
wow I've been in here a lot recently, haha
i fixed the two other problems, thanks for the tips!

here's one more:

my krinker jams a LOT.
usually about once every 4 or 5 rounds

the gun has only had maybe 110 rounds through it, and the magazine is brand new..

could it just need some wearing in?

also, should it be on the dry side or oily side?

I assume dry (as is often ideal)
right now it's a bit oily.

should I strip most of the oil out?

what else could be the case?

i've only used american eagle..
i assume CCI would work better..

oh and the type of jams are mostly stovepipes

thanks!

What mag are you using, if you are using the 20 or 30 round mags? Why don't you try a stock RUGER 10 rounder, to see if it is after market mags that are the problem or something else.

When there is a feeding or jamming problem start with the magazine, its usually the cheapest ( you can borrow another mag to try), easiest, and quickest and the least damaging to the gun. Once you have eliminated the possibility of the mag being the problem you can move on to other possibilities that are a little more damaging if you do them and that wasn't the problem. Example: #1 messing with the feed ramp to make it work with a mag that isn't right, then you get another mag and the feed ramp is wrong for that mag. #2 Filing a mag release to make a bad mag fit and then it is the only one that will work until you replace the mag release.. Always start with the mag, then move to other stuff.

Extractor maybe, BTW do you got a aftermarket charging handle in it? I know a aftermarket charging handle gave me problems... I knew my Krinker worked with AE ammo even federal a lot better then what hes saying. I was using crappy Eagle 30's. I knew the Krinker had a tight chamber to start out with...

Maybe working out kinks...

I went through the jamming issues with my Krinkov. I tried every possible brand of ammo. I settled on CCI MIni mag. Expensive but few jams. I cleaned it, I tried several different types of mags. I was willing, reluctantly, to settle for factory mags but found it was really hard to put them in and even harder to remove them. I finally bought some Tactical Innovations and they worked much, much better. Then, after about 600 rounds, several severe cleanings, different lubes, it all of a sudden shot almost flawlessly- with most any kind of ammo. Certainly with the TI mags there weren't any problems. Now it shoots quite well with my Steel lipped BC 25 rounders as well. It also digests almost any kind of ammo now.

So just shoot it and shoot it some more. Hopefully you will find it starts to be more reliable as it breaks in. I really recommend the TI mags.

Good luck with it.

Most of the lead CCI, federal stuff crapped out every 4-5 rounds. never had many problem with gameloads, velociters, stingers, mini mag...

i still need some of those TI mags....

Change ammo. You have to try as many brands of ammo as you can to find the ammo that will both shoot well and cycle the action. .22's are just like that.
