Krinker muzzle brake

Are you sure it is lead?

If it is lead, that must cause a lot of inaccuracy... I didn't think bullets should touch a muzzle brake.

I would try scrubbing with a stiff brush and Hoppes #9 to start with... and see how that goes.
 
It seems that the first owner have put a lot of jb weld on thread ...
probably when the bullet goes out the muzzle it touch the weld and some lead fall apart thru the break:confused:
i fix the problem with a drill rod 25/64 - 0.3970 dec

i will try to post a pics of the muzzle brake
