I have had my eye on the krinker plinker for a while now and spring is coming so I am getting ready to buy one, but I would like to know how accurate these are compared to the Ruger 10/22 in stock form ?

Accuracy is a vague question I know, but please post your thoughts or the differences you have seen before and after the conversion.

Thanks.

The Krinker barrel as supplied seems to be of very high quality, (I have the longer barrelled version, with the fake surpressor). Fit is excellent, and overall the kit is built to close tolerances. There is no slop whatsoever once it's installed. My Krinker's accuracy, (once I got the scope adjusted..) was comparable to my original stock rifle in all respects.
I have found that there is a noticable difference with the type of ammo fired with the Krinker barrel configuration, more than the original 10/22. High velocity tends to group better than target/standard velocity ammo. I'm not sure if that's universal, or just my particular gun.
Ergonomically, I'm not crazy about the short metal stock, which adds a little challenge for those of us who prefer longer eye relief.
