Krinker Plinker Ammo

What's everyone using in thier Krinker Plinker. Mine will not feed/eject the federal bulk pack stuff from both factory and steel lips mags. It is totaly reliable with CCI Mini Mags though, but I want to try something cheaper.

I use Thunderbolts on BC Steel lip mags with no problems. My KP doesn't like Federal Bulk as well.

All mine runs on is Federal Bulk

If you "radius the bolt", polish up the hammer and sears, use a VQ extractor, synthetic bolt buffer, she should run flawless on just about any standard velocity ammo.

*Note, for subsonic ammo, I took WAY more off then what's in the pic, I radiused it right up to where the top "lip" is.

CCI standard works perfect in mine. It's the only ammo I use fpr plinking and my .22 HGs too

Thanks guys. I picked up some Remington Thunderbolts and Cyclones from the local shop, I'll try them before I go ahead with the mods sxyglock17 suggested. The gun used to shoot the Federal bulk just fine before it was put into the Krinker Plinker kit. My 16" heavy barrel 10/22 will shoot the Federal ammo with no problems.

The Krink 16inch uses a match brl. That might make a difference to to chamber specs.

C&S uses the same barrel for the 8"... they simply cut the 16" barrels, thread it and install the Krink Brake... so it's just a shortened 16"
