Krinker Plinker Kit - Ideas on How to keep it non-restricted ?

Overall length folded; 26-5/8". Ditching that fake can and adding a flash hinder is the first thing I think everyone should do with their kit. The can adds unnecessary weight and looks ### - in my opinion...

Now here is the deal, if I want to keep 16” barrel and folding stock which are my options here? Someone suggested to weld the flash hider to the stock, but after some time this idea has been refused since this is not accepted as a barrel length. I see only two possible options here and I would like to hear your opinion on these:

You are correct a permanently installed flash hider does not count towards barrel length. It does however count towards overall length of the firearm.
