Actually, I think the only 10/22 model that's Liberal-approved for that particular purpose would be this baby here... it's especially made by Ruger for the backward canadian Firearms Act.

Seriously though, I'm not aware... but I want a Krinker too! How about something called the GSG-5 (scaled down HK MP5 in .22LR)? I think I'm in love with the pics below... :cool:

The GSG-5 is a sweet piece of rimfire a$$... I mean it looks like a nice piece of kit. Same with the SIG 522. Oh when is the CFC and all the other acronyms going to wake up and smell the GSR?
 
I think the guys that are making the GSG-5 are being sued by H&K because of it's MP5-like appearance.

I'm not sure this is a kit... I think it's a full gun manufactured by HK. I've been reading posts on american gun forums and they've been taking orders for these (some of them claim that it is German-made?). I didn't notice anyone there mentioning this being a kit for the 10/22... Anyway, it's 500$ + 20$ shipping. :eek:

Oops.. so maybe HK isn't the maker after all. Still, it's a nice piece of rimfire a$$ as stated above! And no magazine capacity limits either! :D

Krinker Plinker is legal, however, its rare I believe. I haven't seen one for sale myself, though I fired off the one at Target Sports Center.

The GSG-5 is a beauty, and yes, its german made (not by H&K however), available down south but not up here because our beloved gun people have decided it is a prohib simply because it looks like an MP5.

I own a krinker plinker. I bought it from questar but they no longer sell them. I love mine. If you look hard enough you will find another dealer in Canada. I can't remember who is currently selling them but it's worth the money ($500 shipped). The only quirk is that the chamber is target and for some reason mine doesn't like the stinger cartridges (not important to me) and runs on cheap wal mart ammo. If you are interested, a friend of mine MIGHT be interested in selling his. PM if interested and I will provide you with his info.
 
I have built 5 of these. There were several dealers at one time including Questar and Target Sports, plus a few others. Prices for the kits ranged from $399-499 plus taxes and shipping depending on who had them in stock. Ultimately each dealer dropped the line due to supply and communication issues with the manufacturer.

Now the only person that sells them (that I know of in Canada) is on this board as ShooterPhd out of Winnipeg. I believe his price is $550 plus shipping which given the change in the exchange rate seems fair. Don't know if he is actually dealing in them, or just buying them at US retail and bringing a couple in at a time.

I have a brand new completed 16" available if anyone is interested. They can pm me.
