Krinker tune up

I got bored while out of mission and completed a small project on the Krinker Plinker. I added an AK safety with some mods to make it fit. Had to cut off the arm that used to go in the receiver and drill a hole in the same spot. It was meant to be cosmetic but it actually will slide into place behind the bolt if you wanted to keep it from opening. I am thinking about making a pin hole at the bottom for the grove to go in so it will not forcefully free spin around. Going to dress it in the wood stock later and add pics. what do you think?




 
I liked your idea with the fake selector, and I went 1 step further. I took an airsoft AK mag, took out the guts and mounted a 1022 rotary mag on it. I also added a rubber butt pad on the stock to increase length. Very realistic. Here is a pic of the rifle now.

How did you attach the 10/22 rotary mag to the Ak mag body ?

I just used black epoxy to attach a steel M1 mag to a 10/22 box mag. I'm sure you could use the same for plastic on plastic.

Hey Foggy I bought a couple rotary mags from a guy who added a plastic piece onto the bottom that was about 2 inches long. The piece fit into the AK mag body and then I put a couple small screws on both side to keep it in place. i tried it out today and works great.
 
Looks very much like the one on EE.
Iirc, the guy was selling it for way more than it was worth, then tried to lower his asking price, he was trying to part it out the last I remember.
I hate ow some 10/22 come money pits or some try to sell there USED rifles for way more than they are worth!
Looks cool though.
