KRISS 45 Carbine Canada dealer ?

I don't think the US will export anything they consider to be an "NFA" item, which includes rifles with sub-16" barrels. TDI may end up producing a "pistol" version for the US market (short barrel, no stock) but that's probably a long shot.

That'd be pretty cool, actually.

Whats so useless about the DE? Its a pretty fun gun.;)

The DE is marginally entertaining but far from reliable or practical. Especially with the cost of ammo if you run the 50AE.

Guys, he asked if the KRISS can be imported and legally owned in Canada.

He didn't ask about the practicality of the KRISS. Or it's tactical value against a short barreled rifle.

It's sorta like saying, "I want an Aston Martin," and everyone chiming in to say, "Overpriced, you'll need to use premium fuel, and it's over engineered. You'll be better off with a Honda Civic."

You're right, the Honda is a better value.:D

Not everybody wants an AR.

True enough, but the relatively low cost in having a sub gun and a carbine by simply swapping tops (and some internals) is a no brainer. Remember, the mission drives the gear train. If you don't compete or train, then feel free to purchase what you want for plinking. practicality and performance are neither required nor desired.

Exactly! They are compeltely impractical, but would be kind of cool to plink with!

Everybody wants an AR and a Glock!:D

Especially a Chinese Norinco Glock ~ called "Chlocks". Only $50 gets you something with a bad finish that might work some of the time!

The Kriss actually beat the MP5 as number one in the top ten close quarter combat rifles on the Military channel. Watched it the other day. Not sure how biased or accurate the testing was but I liked it.

Some ugly guns are beautiful, that one makes me want to throw up.

He'll sing to whatever tune his corporate sponsors will tell him to.

Really? I beg to differ.

Have you spent any time hanging out with him? Have you spent weeks with him in the same house?

So Mr.Butts, it looks as though the answer to your question, after a long and rambling ride down "AirYourBias Lane" is that nobody really knows and that so far NO IDEA would likely be the aggregate response.

Kriss Carbine in the US:1,745.00; Box of 50 RDs .45 ACP: 30.00; Advice on CGN: Priceless

:agree:

If anyone has looked into the KRISS the quote "Oversized, overly complex recoil redirection/reduction" work really well. Muzzle climb is minimal, you can hold that thing on full auto and control it (if we were allowed full auto of course) its even less climb than a MP5. Plus your getting a better round. What other good options are out there really for 45ACP subgun; HK UMP 45. You cant complain about plastic either most new "tactical" firearms that come out are plastic.

Did he just say that .45ACP was superior to 9x19mm?

cou:

If we're talking knock down power and suppression then yes. .45 ACP is sub sonic so it is far easier to suppress effectively.

Umm... isn't most .45ACP NOT subsonic...?

Edit: nevermind, you'r right. Speed of sound = 1,125 ft/s. Typical .45ACP velocity is 1080fps.

Sure did! 45ACP is superior. In a subgun or in a 1911 I could pick a round that I would trust my life to better than 45

By the way I cant think of anywhere you can get a KRISS in Canada. I did see one for sale on longrangehunting a while ago
