Several of us tried one out a few weeks back. Odd looking gun. It functioned fine but chambering a round or trying to pull the bolt back was a chore. Is the cocking handle suppose to be hard to pull back? I mean it was a real bear to load a round into the chamber. Something wrong or just the nature of the beast?

Mine was tough to retract, too. Making sure the bolt and carrier are well-lubed will help but Armourall hit the nail on the head. There are some detailed pictures in my old thread here showing the bolt travel.

Mine has a sweet spot. Almost like pulling it towards the inside as you start. If you grab it at or near the tip, you will feel it bind.

You do get used to it. It is second nature to me now, but pulling it inwards as you pull back, then it doesn't bind.

Mine got better the more I used it but you really only need to use it once a day if you don't close the bolt all the time when it's empty.
Some days I regret selling that gun. It was fun.
