Anyone seen the new rifle that Wolverine is advertising?

http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/default.asp?Pg=12&do=1&NIID=216

I got my name down for one... I hope others will be interested.

No... Its a rifle all by itself. Could be used for hunting or plinking outdoors even.

Saw it on Future Weapons TV show. You might find it on YouTube.

It's very cool looking, hard to believe it's not restricted. $2500 might be more than most would pay for a .45 ACP calibre in a rifle.

Just under 5 pounds and folds up real small. Uses Glock 21 mags. They make a full auto model for LE and the military that uses 30 round mags. Apparently you can get it in .40 cal as well although they don't list them on their website. A ton of accessories seem to be available for it.

It is growing on me.... slowly. But all that I ever have really wanted is a non-R AR15 :(

Gun looks hella fun, but I can't help about think about the following:

Receiver is in front of the trigger followed by the magazine. As a result the gun (with a 18.5" barrel) is going to be a little longer than a standard AR15 or XCR (with the same length barrel). Considering this is supposed to be a SMG, seems like there are better choices. It's still a clever design as it minimizes muzzle clime.

I briefly looked into the reloading cost to reloaded .45ACP and it seemed to be the same as reloading .223. It costs me 30cents/round to reloaded my 223 with 62gr bullets. I do look forward to being proven wrong on this.

For the money, I think you'd be better off buying an XCR or Keltec RFB.

Eh, I'll still buy it when I win the lottery.

Other than the price being a deal breaker (for me-I'm cheap-kinda) the Glock 21 mags suck.
I had a G21, if you got the early pinned mags they were great but the dedicated 10 round mags were horrible IMO.
Interesting design though..

Been looking at these for awhile. Really prefer the handling of it in the short-barreled config (i.e. no fake suppressor), but the balance of the gun is still surprisingly 'right' even with the gov't-required additions. Gonna have to roll my pennies for that one sometime, considering we don't make any parts for .45 caliber guns it'd be hard to get that written off as a 'shop expense' :p

Yeah, the 10rd mag (we had them during the AWB '94 decade) are AWFUL. They are a PITA to load and feeding wasn't 100% reliable

[G21 owner since '98]

That is one fugly firearm... :p

and I have absolutely no interest in it for 3 reasons...

fugly

its in 45acp (now if it was available in 10mm that would be another story)

if $2500.00 is the price I just can't justify it when I have such an awesome XCR-L set up...

OK just watched the video may have to change my mind...

:D
