Kriss Super V issue - any owners out there?

A friend just purchased a new Kriss in .45 ACP and upon inspection it seems that the charging handle is very stiff. Stiff to the point that you have to really brace it against your hip to rack it.

My friend disassembled the rifle, lubed/greased as normal with no change. Is this normal? Are they typically this stiff to rack?

Thank you in advance.

I got mine and I thought it was stuck or broken. Helps to put pressure at the inside of the charge handle rather than the outer part of the handle. I also stripped and lubed (m-pro7)all the recommended parts and that made it a bit smoother.

I also read some guys had their vectors with the bolts back for 2 weeks so that it would loosen up the recoil spring.

My bolt has always been a bit stiff, part of the design, never seen one that has been otherwise...

To answer your question andrew3081, I *think* north sylva was the importer and can refer you to whomever can do warranty, but I am not 100% sure, I am sure somebody will correct me shortly if I am incorrect on naming NS as the importer.

Do you have an issue with a gun you own, or are you just asking for the info?

Yes, the bolt on my Kriss was super stiff, and it didn't get any better, stayed stiff untill I sold it.

We took ours out of the box and just started to shoot it. Yea the charging handle was something different then normal people are used to. Recoil not any, it does jump a bit. Ergonomics is something different.

I want to get a Kriss, but with all these reports of issues with the Kriss. I am a bit reluctant to get one.
I was hoping the issues would disappear, but it looks like there are still some problems.

"but with all these reports of issues with the Kriss."

Are you seriously referring to a stiff charging handle? (Which is normal) Is that all these "reports of issues"?
