Looking to buy a Kriss Super V. Just wanting to hear from people who've shot it or own one on the reliability. Thanks

Mine has worked well so far:
- Bolt cocking is extremely stiff for me
- latch that locks back bolt on an empty magazine doesn't fully engage sometimes
- latch to hold the folding stock in the folded position is "cheezy" IMHO

I have shot reloads with this since day 1 and had no issues with cycling or ejecting.

Owning one will make you consider buying a Glock 21 for some weird reason...

I have had mine out for three straight days in the woods, through rain, snow, -20 degree celcius weather, and freezing rain, as well as a heavy hike through the woods.

I left it out in the freezing rain while I was working to put tarps over our cabin at one point to see how it would cope.

After 5 hours, it had 1/4" of freezing rain built up on all the working surfaces. I put a mag in, wacked the charging handle a bunch of times to break the ice off it and charged it, then broke the ice off the safety to swich it to fire, and fired three mags without a single problem.

I do not shoot reloads through this gun often, since it likes to be run HOT, and all my current batch of reloads for my 1911 are a bit on the soft side. If you do not run this gun very hot, you will either have problems with cycling, or problems with locking open on an empty mag. Full power factory or hot loaded handloads are the way to go for the KRISS

This little gun has really impressed me.

It's a great gun

I had one for a short time and really enjoyed it.

Only 1 issue I had was the pin that holds the ejector in place would start to walk out of place after about 40 to 50 rounds it would be half way out by then.

Other then that it was good.

I traded it in only because I'm more of a full rifle guy like the XCR, AR15 and so on.

Hope this helps

I also agree with what WESTSIDE is saying here as well

Mines got just over 800rds through it so far without issues. The cocking stiffness has decreased with use. The only thing I've noticed with mine is it doesn't like the Glock factory 13rd mags and won't lock open on either of the 2 I have.....my factory 10rd mags lock fine.
