Sorry for the wait on the range name. Its called Big Gun Fun. Right beside the chinese food place just off main street. If youve never been to West Yellowstone, you wont understand why knowing the name isnt an issue... especially in the winter when %60 of the town is closed. To say its the ONLY place in town isnt an exaggeration.
I was in vegas earlier this year and shot a full auto UZI and MP5. Both were cool, but since I wasnt allowed to actually shoot them the way I wanted, it wasnt nearly as fun as id hoped. When I was in West Yellowstone I fired the Kriss, a full auto tommy gun and a full auto AK... that was intense. Some of the guys I was with fired FA Mac 10's, .223 M4's and an M16. We shot a pile of hand guns as well and... believe it or not, an 1800's reproduction gattling gun. That was VERY underwhelming. Not worth the $$ IMO.
I was very surprised with how controllable the Kriss was in FA. I didnt think the muzzle lifted hardly at all. If you think it does, grab an AK and let a clip go... youll quickly see how flat the Kriss shoots. The M4 was the same, nearly impossible to stay any where near your target for more than 2-3 shot bursts.
Apparently this Kriss is special in some way. The standard ROF for a stock Kriss is 1500 RPM... the guy at this place claimed this one shoot around 2500 RPM. I asked him about 5 times what made it special or what was different VS a stock one and he never did tell me. So im not convinced it was all that different anyway.
Glad you guys enjoyed the vid. I watch it over and over... every time it makes me smile.
