**Kriss Vector Galore!!!**

Newbie question, what is the length on those boxes? are the boxes standing upright? or are the shrouds threaded on?

(Agree, 45 is getting expensive... actually all ammo is generally...)

Full Box Length is 43inches; in the photo boxes are upright against the counter. Shrouds can be removed with a little work; but the rifle has a full length barrel.

I would love to hear about how the new Gen. II's shoot! Anyone have one yet and care to give a bit of a range report! I handled one and thought it was pretty awesome, but would like to hear some first hand shooting experience before I drop almost $2K

will consider a 9mm. but after owning 2 gen 1's and dealing with KRISS' poor customer service, Im a bit hesitant to jump on the KRISS train again. Funny how i received more help from JR carbines than i did from KRISS in regards to the last round feeding issues.
Hopefully these gen II's have worked out those issues. Would love a review if anybody picks one up!

Totally agree with ROYAL403, really liked the look and feel of my gen 1, but sold it after giving up on its poor feeding performance, just not reliable. Even after returning it to KRISS and waiting 8 months for its return...and then it still fed poorly...a big disappointment because I really liked the rifle...beware and wait for reviews.

Just got my tan gen 2. Feels like a weighty beast. Comes with one mag as stated. I had to attach the stock. Placed a flat dark earth Elcan 1-4 spectre on it, and I'm off to the range on Sunday. There's far lighter optics of course but I had the elcan lying around and it matches nicely. :)
The rifle feels super quality. I've only held a gen1; this exudes more hope for a better firing experience than the guys up above had. Fingers crossed....

That's a lot of glass for that rifle... Looks awesome though!!!

I'd love to hear how accurate these things are out to 50 and maybe 100.

Maybe they will surprise everyone and need a bit of glass to take advantage of the performance they have.

I've had a Gen 1 since they came out with never a problem with feeding or ejecting - nothing - so I'm not sure why one or two guys have to say the Gen 1's were crap. I guess they have to justify why people NEED to have a Gen 2. Here's a question for you - if the first one didn't work for you, why did you buy another?????

I've had one since day one without a hicup.

I should have clarified that I put the Elcan on it because it was lying around doing nothing, and because it also is in FDE. I've replaced it now with the Leopold red dot sight. Have not been to the range yet but I'd like to try the former at 50 and 100).

Absolutely need a range report on these, please! I used to think it the ugliest gun ever invented, but that's before that shroud was added to it... now it looks like it's straight out of a Sci-Fi flick. :)
