Kriss Vector Gen 2

Had a Kriss Vector, ran fine and I really liked it for the first 500 rounds, then nothing but jams, FTF's etc. Sent it back to Kriss, 8 months later got it back, still wasn't reliable, a little better but not reliable enough to keep. Sold it at a big loss, never again. Be warned, some are good, some not so much.

The barrels are square you posted an old picture the http://www.kriss-usa.com/products is new product/info and pics.

I hope all the Gen 2 in Canada have the "new "shroud, I like it. However some info indicates that the new style shroud is an accessory, what comes to Canada we won't know till they hit the stores I guess. I also saw on their site that the 9's aren't offered till october 2015. So since we are talking guns and canada here, we'd be lucky to see them before...... 2016. There is a 16" shroud, new style, for sale now in USA, for sale on Kriss USA store. But ! Of course Kriss USA store will not ship ANYTHING to Canada, not even a hat ! :bangHead:

A 3D-printed rectangular barrel shroud to make it look like some futuristic carbine would be amazeballs.

You mean like this?

9mmmmmmmmmm.... But then I'm thinking isn't the benefit of the Kriss system to use 45 acp for "knock down power"? (Albeit some paper is tougher than other paper)

No 5.5 restricted models coming in? Sucks the Gen 2 is out but it seems Canadian dealers are only bringing in non restricted length. Does nobody else but me want them in restricted 5.5"?

I shoot 9mm and .45 and I own a restricted KRISS in .45 and I love it. Besides the "knock down power" I think for alot of people ammo price difference between .45 and 9mm would be a big factor, and more people would be interested in the firearm in the cheaper to shoot 9mm caliber

I wouldn't give up my .45 for the 9mm, and they did an amazing job making the .45 easy to shoot accurately and rapid fire out of the Vector, that being said I just ordered 1000 rounds or 9mm and it cost me $416.02 shipped to my door, last week I ordered the same brand 1000 rounds of .45 ACP and in comparison it cost me $607.34 to my door. So yeah for some the almost double the ammo price might make a 9mm KRISS Vector seem like a good idea

Especially when your doing this all day
