Kriss vector non-restricted

There was some really good range videos a while back when they first started appearing.

I like the look, but I worry about the balance for something that was designed with a 5"(?) barrel in mind being extended out to 18"

I'm pretty sure Blaxsun had one he was pleased with.

Although I heard the triggers sucked! I was told the same thing about the Tavor and I got over that, but there's always horror stories with triggers being mushy/stiff/need a gorilla-to-help-you-shoot

I love mine.
The trigger isn't great but it isn't a problem either since it isn't a sniper rifle or bench gun. It's just a long pull. It's consistant at least.
The balance isn't bad but I'm sure the restricted version feels a lot lighter.
The action is really cool and it strips down easilly with no tools.

I have nothing negative to say about it other than it has nothing for sling options other than buying rail mounted loops like a MAGPUL RSA or similar. That is the only thing TDI missed the boat on in my opinion.

Seems simple enough to reload for and I know at least 1 member here who has done so.

Getting the brass is the only real expense, but I don't see that as a major discouragement.

Bulk .224 FMJ are pretty cheap, and the powder charge is tiny, so......

If I was gonna spend the money it would be on my short list.

5 round mags are not cool though.....

Another reason I really do like the Kriss.

I am interested to hear stories from owners. I remember hearing about feeding issues early on, and it kinda put me off.

Also now with the JR carbines running well(at least 9mm) it has got me thinking about getting into a NR carbine again.

I was really interested in buying one but I was lucky enough to try one at the range first. I'm glad I did. Although it's a cool platform and I liked the way it handled I felt the ergonomics were a little strange. The deal killer for me was the akward charging handle and being a lefty it only complicated things further. My suggestion would be to make sure you try it before you buy one. I really wanted to like it but couldn't.

There is a couple for sale on the EE.

Why are people selling? Anything wrong with them?

Is there a flaw? Too much Hype??

I was looking at getting one in 4 weeks..... Am I going to make a mistake?? I luv my G30.... So I have lots of mags :)

Anyone here fire the real version of this gun(select fire?) Its simply the most awesome smg I have fired... 10x the smg that the mp5 is anyway. After that I couldn't never stand to own the non restricted model.

I had mine up for a week or so, but I decided to keep it and sell something else instead. They're an absolute riot to shoot. Picky about ammo, but other than that - handling is just awesome.

Definitely fun to shoot but don't you find the charging handle a little awkward?

Picky on the ammo? So what kind ammo it takes or not takes ??

Thanks

There is a list on their website of recommended ammo. It would be a good place to start. Just buy a box and try it. If it cycles your good and if not try something else. Every rifle will be a little different so there isn't really an exact answer.

This thread is derailing fast.
There are plenty of PS90 threads guys, ask your questions there.

Where would you like to see the charging handle? Side is fairly standard isn't it?
I like it, especially the way you can check the chamber just by folding it out. Mine is still pretty stiff to rack but it's hardly got any rounds down the pipe so I'm guessing it will loosen up once the rifle breaks in.
