Its a Picatinny rail that slides into that insert and is then pinned in place. Hard to find any Kriss parts in Canada.

Yeah flat rate shipping at some places can kill a small order.
I went big and bought 4 different configurations of the rifle and took what I wanted off 2 of them. I sold 1 and I'm in the process of selling the other. Now I have 2 set up how I like.
 
For Anyone with the SBR 8” barrel. How do you find the accuracy of it? I love this look better then the ones with the longer barrels but I have some concerns about velocity drop and accuracy loss? Any one with experience comparing the two?
