Kriss vector short Barrel swap/ tactical build

If I have a non restricted Kriss is it possible to purchase the short restricted barrel anywhere just to have in case I wanted to do a restricted conversion??

Would like to build something like this ,
Money isn't an issue just need to know where to buy the barrel and guard

I have never seen KRISS VECTOR barrels for sale, and on their website it states the following below. Also from the reading I have done on barrel swaps, even if you get the barrel. KRISS uses a swagging process to attach their barrels to the receiver, which means special equipment to install, and also drilling or milling out of the old barrel making it unusable after the swap. So I don't think they will sell you just a barrel even in the USA, In Canada getting Kriss parts from the Canadian importer was a hassle and long wait for me so I can only wish you good luck

Their hand guards you can buy, just again availability in Canada may be an issue

KRISS USA offers a conversion service to convert your Vector CRB into an SBR (Short Barrel Rifle). You will need to first submit a service request with us and provide all relevant paperwork. After your service request has been processed, you can ship the firearm to us and we will service your Vector as well as replace the 16″ barrel with a 5.5” or 6.5″ threaded barrel assembly. Please contact us for more information.

It is not possible to convert a Vector CRB into an SDP (Pistol). Firearms manufactured as a rifle cannot be remanufactured as a pistol (“Once a rifle, always a rifle”); it is only possible to remanufacture a Vector CRB as a Short Barrel Rifle.

My best guess would be to check with your local Kriss dealer and see if you can purchase just the SBR lower. They are interchangeable with CRB. Would like to hear if that's possible as I'm considering doing the same where I would buy one version and then buy the other version's lower so I can swap them out at my choosing.

Problem with that if I am correct is the lower has the serial number on it, so buying a lower would be like buying another gun. And a SBR lower would be a restricted, and would be the same as buying and registering another restricted Vector. The cost and hassle to get just a lower is going to be close to the price of a complete Vector IMO
