You wont see more than one or two more of these ANYWHERE... Ive only ever seen one done like this and I dont think it was done as well.
I made this quadrail from an airsoft version of a spikes tactical 12 inch AR for end. It is free floated over the barrel shroud and it attached via the 4 side rail screw mounts. It was cut and fit to the gun by hand. Each side of the rail, over top of the mounting screws, includes a small section of Magpul Rail covers so you dont get your hands caught when using the charging handle. The lower factory Kriss rail has been removed (It is held on with a small roll pin) to make room for the bottom of the quad rail to mate perfectly with the vertical magwel area of the gun.
The quadrail fits great, looks great and is supremely useful. It helps cover up some of that crazy long 18 inch barrel and makes it look less ridiculous while also provide a pile more rail space for any of the accessories you want to mount. Furthermore, it allows for a MUCH farther forward grip for better control.
The gun has NOT been modified in any way. The rail can be removed in about 1 minute with just 4 screws.
The cutting was relatively easy with a dremel and measuring was simple. At the moment the cut portions of the rail are NOT re-finished or painted. They are still bare aluminum but because of where they are located you cant see them at all. The rear mount screws are what came with the quad rail. I counter sunk them slightly into the rail. The front 2 screws (on on each side) are from my RC parts bin. I had to grind off one section of picatinny rail and use a pre-existing hole in the rail, with an aluminum washer, to hold it on. After putting the ladder rail covers over it, you can barely see the washer at all.
Many have said the left side rail can be problematic and get in the way of using the charging handle. I have not found this to be true at all. Again, the rail covers smooth out that portion of rail anyway so theres no worry about cutting your fingers when charging.
The gun can still be completely stripped without removing the rail. It does not effect any aspect of the guns assembly or function.

This gun is currently for sale in the EE.
