I have been hearing good things about KS arms and I'm looking for them to build a barrelled action for me. Looking for some feedback.

Does Anyone have any experience with KS arms wolverine and SA3R actions? Which action do you prefer and What's your experience like with them? Also curious anyone's experience with their barrels.

i had some work done by ks arms back in the mid 90s. the first was a trigger job on my 10/22. took it to the range and it would fire 2 or 3 shots full auto at a time so back it went. a couple of years later, had my ruger m77 in for a bedding/trigger job. work was done ok but he had taken a big chip out of the stock and wasn't too concerned about it when i pointed it out to him.

so, i'd give karl and ks arms a really quick pass.....

LOL 30 years ago! Times have moved on. One of Canada's more respected shops.

I've have nothing but good things to say about KS Arms.

I own both a Wolverine and a SA3R, that choice depends what youre use case is. I went 2 lug for F class, 3 lug for PRS

I bought my SA3R second hand and Mike went above and beyond when I asked them to swap the firing pin spring, he replaced the whole striker assembly and gave me a new spring all for $20. Absolutely amazing customer service.

Its extremely common for me to go to local club matches and every rifle on that line have a KS barrel.

Im about to purchase my 5th barrel from them.

This is my SA3R 6GT And KS barrel. 20 rounds. image_cropper_1755466510502.png

I’ve used 5 or 6 ks barrels and own their sa3R action. I’ve had excellent results with there barrels as far as barrel life and accuracy is concerned. There action is really well made, very smooth, locks up very solid. Mike and Karl do great work and would recommend them 100%. I’ve used a bunch of different barrels and ks has proven to be one of the most consistent. Building a rifle today ks arms and 1 other manufacturer would definitely be the barrel I’d run

That's good to know. I've been looking for a quality Canadian made barrel and action. Sounds like KS is the right choice.

I’ve owned or still own a bunch of different custom actions and have had barrels from 8 different barrel manufacturers, ks service and quality has always been good. I have a few actions I prefer over them but it’s more on the features and not feel or quality. But at 600+ dollars more it’s not necessarily worth it either.

I've probably shot 4-5 barrels from KS arms in 6dasher with the SA3R, my hunting rifle is built on the long action Wolverine 284win both of em are hammers.
I do prefer the 3 lug over the 2 lug though
