KS Arms actions?

I don't own one yet but I have handled a few of them at their shop. The action is a 3 lug push feed and I believe it's a Sako style a ejector. They are beautifully finished and I hope to own one soon. I have a couple of their barrels and they are excellent as well

I have one....SAR....not a lot of mileage on it yet...cycles smooth and solid. Yes, SAKO-style extractor.....over-all quality and finish I would call excellent.

Alberta outdoors forum.....guy had one where bolt handle broke off. Apparently they fixed it quickly. Tall scope rail (heavy) and no pinned lug or rail. I'm waitin for the new Curtis axiom actions.

Clearances are supposed to be around .004 /5". Really large port reduces the stiffness of the action. Maybe that is why they use the heavy thick rail to help stiffen it up but it adds weight. Guess you can't have everything. Rail and recoil lug isn't pinned either. I heard they had a hardness around 35rc which makes them soften than other customs like Borden.

I fondled one of those actions at the calgary gunshow. Bolt timing felt perfect, bolt cycled silky smooth, bolt lift was light (i have a three lug action that is like lifting a 20 pound weight). If I was in the hunt for another rifle this year that action would be top of my list. Em precision was very professional- from our short chat I would give them a go for a rifle build.

Thats a pretty nice rifle. Hope it shoots as good as it looks!
