Finally got my 6GT out to the range to actually shoot it.

My first range trip with it the Trigger Tech Special broke on the first round, Threw in a factory R700 trigger and went back.

Pretty impressed for the low sample size and non run in barrel yet. Had the wife shoot the group attached to see if she liked the rifle. And if a novice can pull those off im sure it'll do great.

Looking foward to getting a large sample size group and chrono Data once the barrel speeds up a little. Otherwise had a great time abusing the steel.

Yup. I do plan to swap that for a rider. RDSC has one and could be a good option!

Started with a MDT metal 10, now doing the MDT Plastic. Just like the look!

KS actions (and barrels) are kinda like a sore d**k, ya just cant beat em. Nice shooting. Love my KS combo.

Shot my first PRS recently! 9th with 60% of first place hits.

Barrels sped up from 2950 to 3080 after 300 rounds. Might need to drop a gr or so. No pressure signs but I feel like that's getting hot for a 26"

Tried out some 112gr Match burners. They didn't do great. But they didn't do terrible. Cost effective training bullets for sure. Barrel has 297 rounds before this group. So might have needed a cleaning

Cleaned the barrel and did a 20 round group again with the 6GT and 112gr Match Burners. Think this is enough to give up on my idea of using them.


However, the Berger 105s still shoot awesome. Another 20 Rounds under 3/4MOA

I think id like to try them, the added energy should be pretty handy for PRS hit calls.

Ya 6gt is awesome. Proof competition barrel in solus action in KRG w3 folding and aw mag. DNT one optic. To save money I’m using 6.5x47 Lapua cut and bushing full sized in 6gt Rcbs die. Also UNIS ginex cam pro small rifle primers gold color. Then 37.2gr of h4350 with 107 smk. The primers are like small magnums. 2994fps and 4.1sd. During ladder I found 2 nodes the lower and upper fps. The higher fps is just as good if not better it likes the higher node. No pressure signs as well. Very happy. Group done on Monday this week.
